Gardens & Estate

The estate is arranged into woodland, garden and meadow across an area of nearly 6,000 m². The woodland brings together more than 30 trees of significant botanical value, including Tibetan cedars, lime trees, ginkgos, yews, magnolias, Japanese maples. The structured garden, finished with local natural stone slabs, leads to a meadow bordered by cypresses.
Tibetan cedars, lime trees, ginkgos, yews, magnolias, Japanese maples, fruit trees and broad lawns form gardens that are not simply a backdrop to the house: they are another part of it.
There are wooded areas, paths, stone, lawns and places from which the Palace can be seen from entirely different perspectives.
The wall, entrance gates and heraldic portico define the boundaries and entrance to the estate. The former fronton, now used as a greenhouse, is also located within the grounds.
The gardens accompany the stay from the first hours of the morning until the lights come back on inside the house.

The former fronton
Elías Ortiz de la Torre arranged the gardens into woodland, a paved garden, a fronton now used as a greenhouse, and a lawn.
